What do we do?

L2L CISMA protects native habitats and ecosystems by monitoring and treating invasive species, and by creating new native habitat. Through the application to various invasive species grant programs, L2L CISMA hires a field crew each summer to manage invasive species in the Central UP. What can L2L CISMA do for you?

We are a resource for the public and offer many services, often at no cost. Here are some ways you could utilize L2L CISMA:
+ We offer free on-site evaluations to help determine what invasive species may be on your land. + We can help treat priority invasive species on your land using best management services. Invasive species can be tricky to get rid of without expertise! + We offer tips on native plantings, i.e. what will perform well in your sunny/shady spots, what to plant to attract pollinators, etc. + Education - we are available to answer any questions you may have, and for invasive species ID training with local schools, clubs, and other organizations. |
