about our positions.
Each summer L2L CISMA hires seasonal field staff and interns to perform invasive species management across the Upper Peninsula. Field technicians have the opportunity to visit the UP's beautiful native habitats while also protecting them. Field technicians treat, monitor, and survey invasive species on trail systems, waterways, wilderness areas, parks, and other native habitats. Field season runs from May-August, and 1-3 overnight camping nights may be required throughout the summer. Enthusiasm for hiking and the outdoors is essential, and background experience is not! However, these positions are perfect for those in the ecology and natural resources fields, or for students working toward a related degree.
